This last month I have been preaching a series of messages on the importance of sharing the Gospel.  The series was entitled “Failure Is Not An Option”.  WE MUST NOT FAIL.  Spreading the gospel is central to fulfilling the Great Commission. If we are silent our friends and family may live and die with never hearing the hope and forgiveness that is only found in Christ.

Several weeks ago I taught the church a poem that I believe can impact your life for the rest of your life. LOL!! It was just two words, repeated over and over again. 

 PLOW ON...    PLOW ON...     PLOW ON...     PLOW ON

I am well aware that life is hard.  Our many responsibilities and commitments can often feel overwhelming. It is during the struggles and tough times of life that we must PLOW ON!

Be sure to take time and look at our calendar for the month of October.  One of the wonderful things about RSBC is that we are a church on Mission and we have several opportunities for you to be “on mission” with us in the coming weeks.   By actively participating in these mission endeavors you will serve Christ by serving others.  I assure you, that by participating, your faith and your life will be transformed. By serving we experience the practical aspects of following Christ and it results in the deepening of our understanding of God and His calling on our life.

October 6 is FRIEND DAY.  I know many of you have been faithful to invite your friends and family. I will be sharing a message entitled, What Happens after you Die.”  You still have time to invite someone this week. God is blessing our church and will continue to bless as we are faithful to share the gospel. Don’t stop inviting!  Let this become a habit that we all develop.
