What to Expect

As you make your way onto our campus, you will see a friendly group of people ready to encourage, help, and enjoy life with you. There is no dress code and you will see most people dressed casually for all of our church activities.  Sunday mornings are quite busy at Ruffin Stacey Bapstist Church.  At 915, our prayer room is open to anyone that feels led to pray.  At 9:30 we have Coffee & Conversations - a time of fellowship.  Both of these happen in the Family Life Center.  At 10:00, our Sunday School classes start.  We have classes for all age groups.  We also have a nursery service available for those that are in need during this time.  At 11:00 our morning worship service begins in the Sanctuary. This service is led by our Worship Team and is a purposeful blend of hymns and contemporary worship music, followed by an powerful message from our pastor - Terry Larsen.

During the school year, we host AWANA clubs each Wednesday night.  Dinner is served at 5:30 pm.  At 6:00 the program starts and it ends at 7:30.  We have a wide variety of classes kids that are potty trained and older can attend.  We even have a group for youth that meets at that time.

Starting in late June, we will begin a Wednesday night study on Prayin' and Praisin'.  It will start at 6:30 in the old fellowship hall.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  These study sessions will end before AWANA clubs start back up in September.

We are an autonomous local church that affiliates with the Dan Valley Association, The Baptist State Convention of NC, and the Southern Baptist Convention.  We are a congregational church that practices meaningful church membership, understanding that each of our members holds responsibility within Scripture (Matthew 18:15-17; 1 Timothy 5:17-20). If you are interested in baptism and/or church membership, the pastor is always happy to talk with you.
