January 2nd, 2022

As we enter into the year 2022, I’m sure that we will all be praying that this year goes more smoothly than the previous two. However, it is important to remember that the Lord does His best work during times of adversity. There has been a great opportunity for Gospel expansion, the extension of grace, and displays of charity during the past 24 months. I hope that each one of us has taken advantage of all the opportunities that God has given us during the pandemic. If we didn’t take advantage of these opportunities, we can look forward to the new chances we will have in 2022.

As a church, I pray that this year will be the most productive year in the history of our congregations. Friends, we have so much potential within our church. That is because the church is not the building, it is the people. Each one of you have great value and are capable of great work for the Kingdom of God. I believe that with all my heart and I want you to believe it as well. There is a world of people all around us, right in this community, who need to know of the love and grace of Jesus Christ. These people are our family, friends, neighbors, and these people are also our mission field. Each of us has been called to a great work. The greatest honor of our lives is to know that the Creator of all that there is wants us to serve in His Kingdom. That is the opportunity that we have had for the past two years, and that is the opportunity that we can seize in the coming year.

It is a blessing to serve with you,

Pastor Lance
