God is Good! I am so very thankful for the move of God that is happening in our church. Vacation Bible School was a week that will not soon be forgotten. I’m sure some of you are still tired and recovering from all the activity of VBS. But it is a good tired. Thank you to all who served.

As a pastor one of my greatest joys is seeing the church serving together. God will bless a church that is singularly focused around the message of the gospel. Everything we do must be with the objective of sharing the gospel. Everyone needs to hear the good news. Be sensitive and aware of the people God sends across your path, maybe everyday, to share the forgiveness and hope that is found only in Christ.

As we are looking to the coming year you will have many opportunities to serve the Lord in the ministries of RSBC. I understand everyone has a full calendar, but Scripture consistently points to prioritizing serving God. God did not save us to sit, but to serve. He has given us spiritual gifts and talents that are to be used for His Glory. Also, in serving God He will often take us our of our comfort zone and use us in ways we never imagined. When this happens He gets all the credit and praise.
